I feel like it add to the story a bit. The song represents a relationship that someone was trying to cling onto,because of the love they still wanted to save,but they had to leave because they realized the relationship wasn’t going to work and it was becoming more of a burden then a beautiful gift. So to some extent…I think Chan’s smile could represent relief and possibly closer to the story. Which, Yes. It is sad. But almost in a beautiful way.

And as sad as the lyrics are they are also respectable to where you want to put it on repeat for a while. Actually, I am still stuck on 2nd generation K-pop songs from my university days as a 90s-born liner. I've been repeating these songs all these years and haven't listened to songs from later generations. However, my little sister showed me a short clip of Felix's voice. I like his deep voice and I just started listening to Stray Kids' songs this month (March 2024). I am sure I've become a Stray Kids fan. I've been a Straykids fan for 3 years now. Over the past one year, many have ridiculed me for being a K-pop fan, hurled insults at me, belittled my emotions towards the group, and even questioned how genuine a fan I am. But as I live with STRAYKIDS and learn more about their message, I know that my relationship with them can only be defined by me, my connection with them is mine alone, and it stems from the fact that they were by my side at any time. a time when no one else was there. I can relate Stay ❤ Theres been times when my will to live has been weak and my depression was taking over me, but I took comfort in skz songs, their smiles and laughs, and there's been so many times where Ive been ridiculed and teased by people for liking skz. I agree - stanning skz has made me so much happier and I'm glad people can relate that skz has brought them so much happiness and helped them heal, like they've done to me
